What is the status of the school's accreditation? How does not being accredited affect the students' ability to get into colleges?

While we have begun the process of accreditation, we are not currently accredited. We choose to not be accredited by any state-run organization and when we achieve accreditation, we would be accredited by the following organizations: the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), American Association of Christian Schools (AACS), and North American Christian School Accrediting Association (NACSAA). The importance of high school accreditation is often misunderstood. While you should be concerned about the quality of education your child receives, high school accreditation does not necessarily affect college admissions. In fact, many public schools across the U.S. are not accredited for one reason or another. This does not inhibit our graduates from attending colleges and universities, who are mainly concerned with the students GPA and SAT/ACT scores. At FBA, we stress the importance of our students continuing their education, but at a Bible college, and (to our knowledge) we have never had a student turned down by a Bible college as a result of our accreditation status, or any secular college for that matter.

Are you affiliated with a specific church or religious group?

Yes, FBA is a ministry of Faith Baptist Church of Margate. We teach Baptist doctrine in our weekly chapel services and Bible classes.

How do I contact the administrator?

Our administrator, Mr. Lipscomb, is happy to speak with you by phone or in the office by appointment. Contact the school office during business hours at 954-974-2404. You may also email Mr. Lipscomb at

Does FBA gear its academics towards the maths and sciences, or is it more spiritually geared?

Now more than ever, each child needs a strong foundation in both academics and character. At FBA, we seek to train the whole student. We will provide an excellent academic program teaching the core subjects that your student needs, but not at the expense of neglecting their spiritual life. Through weekly chapels and daily Bible classes, we hope to make the teaching of God's Word as valuable a resource to them as their academic textbooks.

Do you offer honors classes?

We view ourselves as a college preparatory school. Therefore, all of our classes are geared to preparing each child for a rigorous college education. Our teachers are prepared to challenge those students who can handle the work and offer help to those who fall behind. For this reason, honors classes are not necessary.

May my student shadow?

Shadow visits are set at the discretion of the School Administrator once applications are reviewed, and testing and interviewing is complete.
